Advancing Nursing Education in the Commonwealth |
The Pennsylvania Teaching Nursing Home Collaborative (PA TNHC) is a statewide initiative that strengthens academic-practice partnerships between schools of nursing and nursing homes. The Collaborative’s goal is to create teaching nursing homes where nursing faculty can confidently collaborate with nursing home leaders to design positive, mutually beneficial clinical rotations for students to develop gerontological nursing skills, all while nursing home residents benefit from the Age-Friendly Health Systems 4Ms framework of care. The PA TNHC provides nursing faculty with free coaching sessions, peer-to-peer learning opportunities, evaluation surveys, resources, and more. PHENSA is a strategic partner of the PA TNHC. |
